TRANSPORT & COMMUTING
The area is well served with public transport and good road networks. For commuters, the M55 is just a 15 minutes drive away, giving excellent access to the M6 north to Lancaster & the Lakes, south to Manchester & Liverpool and west to Blackburn & Burnley. The Groves development is within walking distance to the Blackpool tramway service, which runs right along the sea front. Trams stop regularly at Bispham, taking you to Blackpool, Cleveleys, Rossall and Fleetwood, so its easy to enjoy the town centres and beaches along the route. Regular trains can be caught at nearby Poulton station, which take you to Blackpool North, Lytham St Annes, Ansdell, Lytham and Preston. Services also go directly to Manchester, with journey times of about 1hr 10mins. The area is well served with a local bus network over the Wyre and beyond. With the landscape being fairly flat, cycling is a good option for those who want to get around on their own steam.
