Our investment in local communities

Create Homes is committed to engaging with and supporting worthwhile community, educational and charity causes in the places that we build, whilst making sure our sites have low impact on the local environment and are safe for our workers and surrounding communities.

CONSIDERING THE ENVIRONMENT & LOCAL COMMUNITY

Create Homes is keen to support charities, schools and the environment in the localities where we build, as well as making sure our building sites are as safe as possible for locals and our workers.

How we do this:

  1. Rigorous Health & Safety policy
  2. Donations and labour provided for local school projects
  3. Local businesses supported
  4. Local charities and projects supported
  5. Local wildlife and nature respected in both planning and building stages
  6. Landscaping and open spaces provided for nature & wellbeing of residents
  7. FSC approved sustainably grown timber used in the build
  8. Natural clay facing bricks used
  9. Local labour market used where possible
  10. Local suppliers used where possible, cutting down transport emissions
